Welcome to The Cottage, Water's Edge, Kentallen Bay, Appin
Situated in the Highlands on Scotland's beautiful west coast is The Cottage.
We can be found on the A828 between Fort William and Oban on the sea water's edge of Loch Linnhe in Kentallen Bay. The Cottage lies just south of Glencoe, Ballachulish and Loch Leven in Lochaber, Outdoor Capital of the UK.
Our whitewashed, stone built modernised cottage, dating back to the 1800's is warm and cosy and sleeps up to 6 people.
It comprises a living room, dining kitchen, a bathroom, a ground floor bedroom and 2 attic bedrooms. It has a partially enclosed garden with a patio, a picnic table and area for a BBQ. Guests are welcome to bring 1 small dog if they wish.

Birdlife and wildlife can be seen all around us.
You may be lucky and spot the Pine Marten, Seals, and Otters playing in the seaweed at the shore.
Birdlife including seagull, heron, eider ducks - seen every April with their ducklings feeding on the mussels and weed on the mooring ropes, oystercatcher and arctic tern.
Activities to suit everyone are on our doorstep. Fishing in the sea loch, walking, climbing, golfing, cycling and Segways. Water sports, sailing, kayaking and power boating to name but a few.
Enjoy local seafood at nearby restaurants and bars.
Or, you may just want to relax and chill in our beautifully appointed, well equipped coastal retreat.
